This contemporary commercial complex, located on the outskirts of Karaj, Iran, is composed of two large industrial-style halls that form the main body of a modern hypermarket. These halls — designed with clean geometry and bold structural expression — provide vast open interior spaces suitable for large-scale retail operations and flexible functional arrangements. The design embraces the utilitarian character of industrial architecture while refining it through elegant proportions, precise detailing, and an emphasis on light and transparency.
The façades are dominated by large vertical glass panels framed by dark metallic cladding, allowing daylight to penetrate deep into the interior while creating a strong visual dialogue between the building and its surroundings. The rhythmic pattern of the façades, combined with angular rooflines, gives the complex a dynamic and modern identity that distinguishes it from conventional commercial buildings in the area.

A gas station is strategically located adjacent to the hypermarket, serving both customers and through-traffic. The station’s canopy features a minimalist design with structural clarity, complementing the architectural language of the main building. Ample surface parking is distributed around the site, ensuring ease of access and efficient circulation for vehicles.
The entire complex is carefully integrated into its context, with tree-lined perimeters and well-planned pedestrian routes that soften the industrial appearance and create a more human-scale environment. This project not only functions as a commercial hub but also as a contemporary urban landmark — reflecting a balance between practicality, modern design aesthetics, and contextual sensitivity.
