This office building, located in Karaj, stands at the intersection of modern functionality and contextual harmony. The architectural concept revolves around the reinterpretation of traditional brick craftsmanship in a contemporary urban form. The façade is composed of a rhythmic grid of terracotta-toned brick frames that define the building’s structure and provide depth, texture, and shadow play throughout the day. These modular brick elements extend beyond the glazing, creating a tactile and sculptural quality that adds both elegance and a sense of permanence.

At the street level, the design opens up to the city through transparent glass storefronts, establishing a strong visual and functional connection with pedestrians. The ground floor accommodates commercial spaces, activating the urban edge and enhancing the vibrancy of the street. The upper floors, used as offices, are enclosed with full-height glass panels that ensure natural illumination and expansive views, while the brick lattice provides subtle shading and privacy.
Materiality plays a crucial role in the identity of the project. The use of warm brick ties the building to the regional architectural tradition of Karaj, while the minimalist detailing and precise geometry assert its modern character. This blend of solidity and transparency expresses both rootedness and progress — a contemporary landmark that respects the city’s material culture while pushing it toward a refined, future-oriented architectural language.
